Hot air at desired temperature and flow rate is made to flow through the tumbling bed of wet feed. The wet material gets progressively dried to the final level of desired moisture and exits at the discharge end. The humid air carrying moisture transferred from the drying material is exhausted via a dust separator.

Widely used equipment for granular and free flowing material. Rotation of dryer promotes intimate mixing and fresh surfaces are constantly exposed to the incoming hot gases resulting in uniform drying.

The wet feed which has free flowing form is made to work over the rotating bundle of heated tubes. Due to radiation and conduction effects, the moisture is evaporated and the product becomes progressively dry as it travels across the dryer and reaches final moisture level at the discharge point. Due to effective turbulence the solids are dried uniformly.

Wet feed material is made to shower continuously in a cascade manner in a stream of hot air, when moisture gets transferred to the air, rendering the product progressively dry as it travels the length of the dryer’s cylinder provided with suitable lifters. The humid air is exhausted via a dust collection system to trap any fines escaping with the exhaust air.
